Celebrating Our Journey
West End Learning concluded its operations at the end of 2024. We are proud of our journey which forged meaningful partnerships, created innovative products, and made lasting contributions to digital learning.
Enhanced Access to Affordable Learning Materials

-
Syllabus Matcher: This tool enables faculty to upload a syllabus and automatically align it with relevant open educational resources (OER), streamlining course preparation and enhancing student access to affordable materials. Now part of Clarivate.
-
Syllect Platform: Launched software that curates and enables sharing of digital teaching resources for faculty communities. The platform powers the USASBE Teaching Hub, a centralized digital library of thousands of entrepreneurship teaching resources from over 650 sources, supporting more than 1,000 faculty nationwide.

Empowered Educators and Institutions

-
EmcArts Online Programs: Transformed a nationwide in-person arts leadership program into a fully online experience, creating digital content and a delivery platform. This important change-making work, now part of CultureSource, continues to advance innovation and adaptive change to strengthen resilience within the arts.
-
Neurosurgical Atlas Growth Strategy: Developed and executed the growth strategy that transformed this visionary project into a financially sustainable and scalable operation–embedding the curriculum in residency programs and expanding access through medical libraries.
We are grateful for our partners, clients, and the educational community who contributed to our mission of making scholarly content more accessible for learning. We were strengthened by being part of the North Carolina entrepreneurship ecosystem, including NC IDEA and Winston Starts. Through consulting with Wake Forest University, Salem College, USASBE, Talis, Nearpod, and others, we gained invaluable insights into the evolving needs of educators and learners while supporting their work.
I’m excited to continue advancing this vision through my work with libraries and higher education at Clarivate. Please feel free to reach out on LinkedIn and keep in touch.
